Fitment Notes

• Direct bolt-on replacement for the factory intercooler - installs in the OEM location using factory mounting points, locating pins, grille shutter shroud, and charge pipes. No cutting, trimming, or fabrication required.
• Includes a Turbosmart Kompact EM Recirculating (plumb-back) blow off valve for factory electronics integration. The patented EM Technology allows full compatibility with the factory ECU - no check engine lights or fault codes. Recirculated compressor bypass gas is returned to the intake tract upstream of the turbo, maintaining factory-like operation without venting to atmosphere.
• The recirculating BOV is the preferred choice for vehicles running a mass airflow (MAF) sensor, as it prevents metered air from being vented to atmosphere and eliminates the lean stumble or hesitation that can occur with a VTA valve on MAF-equipped applications.
• Compatible with OEM and OEM-style charge pipes - no charge pipe modifications required.

The Turbosmart TS-PK-1002 is the recirculating BOV variant of the direct bolt-on performance intercooler and blow off valve upgrade kit for the 2011-2025 Ford F-150 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost, including the Raptor. It shares the identical intercooler core as the TS-PK-1001 - an 80% increase in cooling surface area over the factory unit with a bar and plate core design and significantly higher thermal mass than the OEM tube-and-fin unit - but pairs it with a recirculating (plumb-back) blow off valve rather than a vent-to-atmosphere unit. The recirculating BOV is the recommended choice for MAF-equipped vehicles, as it returns compressor bypass gas back into the intake tract upstream of the turbo rather than venting it to atmosphere, preventing the lean air-fuel condition and throttle hesitation that can accompany VTA valves on mass airflow sensor-equipped applications.
