Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-0223-3001 is the factory replacement solenoid for the Kompact EM VR1, VR4, and VR30 blow-off valves, covering both Dual Port and Plumb Back configurations. The solenoid drives the internal pressure control channels that allow the Kompact EM to actuate faster than the factory valve while retaining full OE ECU compatibility. Over time, the solenoid can wear or fail, resulting in slow valve response, compressor surge, or loss of actuation - all of which this replacement addresses without requiring the entire BOV to be exchanged.

The kit ships with a pre-terminated loom and an OEM-matched connector for direct plug-in installation on the existing valve body. No wiring modification is required. Always verify the VR designation printed on your Kompact EM valve before ordering, as solenoid designs are application-specific and not interchangeable across variants. VR30 applications require two kits per valve - a single TS-0223-3001 is not sufficient for VR30.
