Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-0223-1277 is a Kompact EM Plumb Back blow-off valve built on the VR17 valve spec, a true plug-and-play upgrade for the Toyota GR Yaris and GR Corolla's factory electronic diverter valve, sharing its architecture with the 8AR-FTS 2.0L turbo engine used across several Lexus IS, RC, and NX models. Unplug and unbolt the OE valve, bolt this one in its place -- no adapters, hoses, or extra assembly required, and the valve retains complete OE control over its own operation.

The Kompact EM series takes Turbosmart's motorsport-proven billet valve technology and adds an onboard proprietary solenoid with internal pressure control channels, eliminating the reference hoses and separate solenoids that plague other upgraded diverter valves. A Boost-Balance Valve design means the seal actually improves as boost increases, backed by a positive seal O-ring on the piston face and full billet aluminum construction for near-indestructible reliability.

This Plumb Back configuration is fully recirculating, venting only back into the intake for a quiet, factory-like operation with none of the atmospheric "whoosh" -- ideal for hybrid or larger-flowing turbos running an OE electronic diverter valve, where minimizing leakage lets the car reach target boost without stressing the turbo or wastegate. A Dual Port version (TS-0223-1077) is also available for those who want some audible blow-off. CARB restricted -- not for sale or shipment to California.
