Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-0223-1286 is a Kompact EM Plumb Back VR3 blow-off valve designed as a true plug-and-play upgrade for the factory diverter valve on the 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2019-2023 Jeep Cherokee KL equipped with the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The multiple award-winning Kompact EM series is the world's first genuinely plug-and-play BOV upgrade -- simply unplug and unbolt the OEM plastic valve, then bolt on and plug in the Kompact EM with no adaptors, reference hoses, separate solenoids, or additional assembly required. The onboard proprietary solenoid system and internal pressure control channels provide full OE electronic integration, retaining complete factory control of the valve's operation.

The billet aluminum construction with black anodized finish provides dramatically superior flow capacity and structural integrity compared to the factory plastic diverter valve, which is known to crack under increased boost pressure. Turbosmart's Boost-Balance valve design ensures the valve seals tighter as boost pressure increases -- the more boost you run, the better it seals. A positive seal O-ring on the piston face provides additional leak prevention. As a plumb back (full recirculating) design, all vented boost pressure is routed back into the intake system for quiet, stock-like operation with no atmospheric discharge. For those wanting the signature BOV sound, the Dual Port version (TS-0223-1086) vents both to atmosphere and back into the intake.
