Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-0223-1250 is the Kompact EM VR23 Plumback blow-off valve for BMW N20 and N26 2.0L turbocharged applications across the 2, 3, 4, 5 Series, X1, X3, X4, X5, and Z4 (2011-2018). Direct bolt-on replacement for the factory plastic diverter valve -- no additional hardware, hoses, or tuning required.

Turbosmart's Boost-Balance design exposes both sides of the piston to equal boost pressure under load, making it impossible for the valve to open unintentionally regardless of boost level. A Viton O-ring face seal eliminates the boost leakage common with worn OEM valves. The plumback configuration recirculates vented air back into the intake, preserving the MAF signal -- the correct choice for street-driven N20/N26 vehicles. For vent-to-atmosphere, see TS-0223-1050.
