Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-0203-1037 is a Kompact Smart Port dual port blow-off valve designed specifically for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX equipped with the FA20F 2.0L direct-injection turbocharged engine. This application-specific BOV features Turbosmart's innovative Smart Port drive-by-wire friendly staging technology, which delivers the reliable response of a plumb-back (recirculating) valve combined with the high-performance benefits of a vent-to-atmosphere valve. The 50/50 dual port configuration recirculates half the vented air back into the intake while releasing the other half to atmosphere, producing the signature BOV sound while maintaining stable idle and smooth drivability on modern drive-by-wire vehicles.

The Smart Port system uses a revolutionary trumpet design that allows the use of a softer spring in the valve body, resulting in significantly faster valve response to the plumb-back port while retaining the ability to vent to atmosphere. Specialized alloys and coatings in the manufacturing process provide enhanced sealing for quicker turbo spool-up and faster boost recovery between shifts. The sealed O-ring piston is capable of holding over 30 PSI of boost, providing headroom for tuned applications. The Kompact series features a compact profile engineered with the latest blow-off valve technology for a direct bolt-on replacement of the factory bypass valve.
