Product Description

Turbosmart's Plumb Back EM Diverter Valve brings a genuine plug-and-play upgrade to the F-150 EcoBoost's factory electronic diverter valve, combining SEMA Award-winning EM Vehicle Integration technology with Turbosmart's proven BOV5 architecture. A direct-fit billet aluminum valve using a 38mm/1.5" coated positive seal piston delivers enough flow for seriously modified vehicles while working perfectly on factory or mildly tuned trucks.

Because the valve is fully controlled by the factory engine control unit, all OEM calibration strategies and torque management functions remain completely intact -- this upgrade won't interfere with the truck's advanced factory tuning. A return hose enables genuinely high-flowing plumb back performance without venting boost to atmosphere, and the valve will not leak even under elevated boost pressures.

Under normal driving, the valve stays almost silent since the factory ECU controls it directly, though due to its construction it may be more audible than the OEM unit during specific events like traction control intervention, cruise control management, rapid gear changes, and varying throttle position -- this is standard operation, not a defect.
