Product Description

The Turbosmart BOV Controller Kit with RacePort Blue (TS-0304-1001) is a complete, ready-to-install solution for adding electronic blow-off valve functionality to diesel and petrol engines that produce insufficient manifold vacuum to operate a conventional BOV. The kit pairs Turbosmart's electronic BOV Controller with the GenV RacePort - a 50mm VTA blow-off valve flowing over 330 CFM through CFD-optimised internals. The controller reads a negative voltage change at the throttle pedal and immediately energises the solenoid, venting the RacePort to prevent compressor surge on deceleration and between gear changes.

Sensitivity and duration adjustments allow the system to be dialled in precisely for the vehicle's throttle system and turbocharger characteristics. The RacePort's Boost-Balance System ensures a tighter seal under higher boost and fast, complete venting on throttle lift, while the MILSPEC valve stem and Silicon Nomex diaphragm provide the durability needed for sustained high-boost use. All installation hardware is included; welding the weld flange to the intake pipe is required. Diesel engines without a factory TPS will need a separately sourced throttle position switch.
