Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-1-8280CP-D4115E is the largest frame in the TS-1 7/8-series lineup, built for builds targeting the 1225-1445 horsepower range without sacrificing the throttle response Turbosmart's oil-cooled TS-1 series is known for. A T4 divided, 1.15 A/R turbine housing pairs with the proprietary dual ceramic bearing system and VSR-balanced rotating assembly to keep spool sharp even at this level of flow capacity.

The 7+7 2618 aluminum splitter compressor wheel and 713C Inconel turbine wheel are engineered for extreme EGTs and sustained high-load operation, wrapped in a lightweight 310S stainless turbine housing with an integrated iron backplate for durability at the center housing. For builders pushing into the highest end of street and race horsepower targets, it's a purpose-built option that still delivers meaningfully quicker response than a traditional large-frame turbo - with everything needed for installation included in the box.
