Product Description

The TurboXS WRX08-HYB Hybrid Blow Off Valve is engineered specifically for turbocharged Subaru platforms from 2008 to 2014, including the WRX, WRX STI, Legacy GT, and Outback XT. This hybrid valve design combines both vent-to-atmosphere and recirculation functions, giving a blend of engaging turbo sound and smooth engine response without the harshness or drivability issues of a pure atmospheric blow off valve. It's factory-tuned to balance sound and performance, minimizing backfire and check engine light issues common with some BOV swaps.

Made from precision CNC machined aluminum with an anodized finish, the WRX08-HYB installs with a direct bolt-on fit in place of the OEM bypass valve and operates with stock intake piping. Its hybrid operation vents some pressure to atmosphere for sound while recirculating the rest to help maintain boost control and drivability. This makes it ideal for daily driven and mildly modified Subaru turbo vehicles looking for a more engaging driving experience.
