Fitment Notes

  • Designed for use with stock-height rear leaf springs only - not compatible with previously lifted or aftermarket spring packs
  • Will not fit vehicles using bolt-on helper springs or contact overloads
  • Sold as a pair - both driver-side and passenger-side rear add-a-leaf springs are included to upgrade both rear springs simultaneously
  • Especially beneficial for trucks used with winches, snowplows, or heavy rear loads that cause rear-end sag
  • For 2 inches of rear lift on the same platform, see Tuff Country part number 82250; for the F-250/F-350 front add-a-leaf application, see part numbers 82112 (F-250) and 82111 (F-350)

Features

  • Adds approximately 3 inches of rear lift by increasing the arch of the existing factory rear leaf springs - no full spring pack replacement required
  • Increases rear payload capacity and spring rate to better handle heavy loads, towing, and work truck use cases
  • Strengthens aged or sagging factory leaf springs by adding a new leaf to restore and exceed original spring rate
  • Economical alternative to a full rear spring replacement, retaining the factory spring pack and adding only the new leaf element
  • Helps achieve a more level or lifted front-to-rear stance by correcting rear sag under load or adding genuine rear lift height
  • Improves handling and performance characteristics under load while maintaining good alignment and vehicle tracking
  • Resistant to vehicle fluids and road grime for long-term durability in both on-road and off-road environments
  • Extended center pins included for proper installation and alignment within the existing spring pack
  • Backed by Tuff Country's Limited Lifetime Warranty

Product Description

The Tuff Country 82350 is a rear add-a-leaf kit engineered for 1973-1996 Ford F-150 4WD, 1980-1997 Ford F-250 4WD, and 1980-1997 Ford F-350 4WD trucks equipped with factory rear leaf springs. Rather than replacing the entire rear spring pack, this kit inserts an additional leaf directly into the existing spring assembly, increasing the arch of the rear springs to deliver approximately 3 inches of additional rear lift height while simultaneously boosting rear payload capacity. At 3 inches, the 82350 provides a more substantial rear lift than the 82250 (2 inches) on the same platform, making it suitable for builds requiring a more aggressive rear stance or for trucks that need significant rear-end height correction after years of load-induced spring sag.

The 82350 is especially valuable for F-Series owners who work their trucks hard - those running snowplows, winches, camper shells, or heavy rear cargo that has caused the factory springs to weaken and sag over time. Adding the new leaf restores and exceeds the original spring rate, correcting the rear stance and improving load handling without the cost or complexity of a full spring replacement. The leaf material is engineered to resist vehicle fluids and road grime, ensuring long-term durability in demanding work and off-road conditions. Extended center pins are included in the kit, which are required for proper alignment and secure installation of the new leaf within the existing spring pack.

Installation is a bolt-in process that works with the truck's existing rear leaf spring hardware, though longer U-bolts may be required depending on the spring stack height after installation. The 82350 is designed strictly for vehicles running stock-height rear leaf springs and is not compatible with trucks already fitted with lifted or aftermarket spring packs, bolt-on helper springs, or contact overloads. The kit ships as a matched pair - one leaf per side - to ensure balanced lift and consistent spring rate across both rear corners. Backed by Tuff Country's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
