The Tuff Country Axle Pivot Drop Brackets (20854) are a precision alignment correction solution for 1980-1997 Ford F-250 4WD trucks equipped with a 4" front lift kit and 4-bolt axle pivot mounting. Ford's Twin Traction Beam (TTB) 4WD front suspension relies on axle pivot geometry that is calibrated for stock ride height. When the truck is lifted without lowering the axle pivot points, the geometry moves significantly out of spec - causing camber problems, pulling, accelerated tire wear, and premature ball joint failure that even aggressive camber adjustments cannot fully correct. The Tuff Country drop brackets solve this by physically lowering the driver and passenger side axle pivot points to restore proper suspension geometry at the lifted ride height.
