Product Description

The Tuff Country 97008 is a 2-inch non-tapered rear lift block and U-bolt kit for 1973-1991 Chevrolet and GMC K2500 3/4-ton 4WD trucks and Suburbans. Designed as a simple bolt-on installation, this kit inserts cast lift blocks between the factory rear leaf springs and rear axle to raise the rear of the truck by precisely 2 inches - an ideal solution for correcting rear sag under load, leveling the truck after a front lift, or improving towing stance without altering the front suspension geometry. The non-tapered block design ensures even load distribution at the axle pad for a stable, factory-like ride.

Extended zinc-plated U-bolts are custom-sized for the K2500 rear axle and replace the factory U-bolts for a secure, corrosion-resistant installation. Note that factory-length shock absorbers may not have sufficient travel to accommodate the 2-inch lift and may require replacement with extended units - verify shock compatibility before installation.
