The Tuff Country 61302 is a multi-application SX8000 Nitro Gas shock absorber designed for a wide range of lifted 4WD trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps. Its nitrogen gas charged twin-tube design minimizes damping fade under hard use, making it equally capable on long highway runs, loaded towing, and demanding off-road terrain. The stem-to-loop mounting style provides broad compatibility across front and rear suspension positions depending on the specific vehicle and lift height combination.

At 31-1/4" extended and 18-3/4" collapsed, the 61302 is built to accommodate the extended axle travel that comes with lifted suspensions on platforms ranging from classic Jeep YJ builds to modern Ram and F-Series heavy-duty trucks. The 5/8" piston rod and polyurethane bushings contribute to durability and a quieter ride. Sold individually - two are required for a complete axle installation. Shock boots are available separately.
