Product Description

The Tuff Country 61212 is a front SX8000 Nitro Gas shock absorber engineered for 2004-2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon 4WD trucks running a Tuff Country 4" lift kit. The SX8000 series uses a nitrogen gas charged twin-tube design that reduces damping fade during repeated compression cycles, making it well-suited for the sustained demands of off-road driving, towing, and highway use on a lifted mid-size platform.

The 5/8" piston rod and polyurethane bushings deliver durability and noise reduction in a package specifically valved to match the suspension geometry of a 4" lifted Colorado or Canyon. These shocks are sold individually, so two are required for a complete front installation. Shock boots are available separately. Backed by Tuff Country's limited lifetime warranty.
