Fitment Notes

• Aftermarket FP turbo requirement: This hose is engineered exclusively for EJ-series Subarus upgraded to a Full-Power (FP) turbocharger with a 3.3" (84mm) compressor inlet housing - including the FP Green, FP Blue, FP Black, and FP Red series. It is NOT compatible with the stock turbo or other aftermarket turbos with a smaller inlet (e.g., 3" / 76mm inlet turbos - see TS-SU-565-NR for those applications). Confirm your turbocharger's exact compressor inlet diameter before ordering.
• Non-Recirculated (NR) version: This hose does NOT include a BOV recirculation port. It is designed for vent-to-atmosphere (VTA) BOV setups running on a speed density (open loop) tune. For recirculating BOV setups, the TS-SU-598-R is the correct choice.
• Connects to 3" cold air intake or intake systems via the included 3" billet aluminum coupler
• Important PCV Diagnosis Port Note: This inlet hose bypasses the PCV Diagnosis Port. A simple, reversible jumper pin relocation is required. Locate the PCV Diagnosis connector (grey or white depending on year) on the engine block near the throttle body. Remove the jumper pin with needle nose pliers using slight pressure. Do NOT discard the pin - reinsert it into the female harness plug previously connected to the PCV Diagnosis connector and secure with electrical tape.

The Torque Solution TS-SU-598-NR is a 3.3" (84mm) non-recirculated silicone turbo inlet hose engineered specifically for EJ-series Subaru WRX (2002-2007) and WRX STI (2004-2021) builds equipped with Full-Power (FP) turbochargers. FP turbos - including the widely used FP Green, FP Blue, FP Black, and FP Red series - feature a larger 84mm (3.3") compressor inlet housing compared to the 76mm (3") inlet used by most other aftermarket turbochargers on the EJ platform. This dimensional difference makes a dedicated, correctly sized inlet hose essential: a 76mm hose will not seat properly on an FP turbo's 84mm inlet housing, and improper fitment at this junction on a high-boost build creates boost leaks, compressor surge risk, and inconsistent power delivery.

The "NR" designation indicates this is the non-recirculated variant - the hose has no BOV recirculation port, making it the correct choice for speed density (SD) / open-loop ECU configurations running a vent-to-atmosphere blow-off valve. On an SD tune the ECU calculates fuel delivery based on manifold pressure rather than mass airflow, so venting boost to atmosphere does not create the lean spike that would occur on a MAF-based tune.
