Fitment Notes

• Aftermarket turbo requirement: This hose is designed for vehicles that have been upgraded to a 3" (76mm) inlet aftermarket turbocharger. It does NOT replace the OEM inlet hose on a stock turbo - the stock EJ-series turbo uses a smaller inlet. Confirm your turbocharger's inlet diameter before ordering.
• Non-Recirculated (NR) version: This is the vent-to-atmosphere configuration - the hose does NOT include a BOV recirculation port. This variant is designed for speed density (open loop) setups running a vent-to-atmosphere BOV. For vehicles running a recirculating BOV on a mass airflow (MAF) tune, see TS-SU-565-R instead.

• Important PCV Diagnosis Port Note: This inlet hose bypasses the PCV Diagnosis Port. A simple, reversible jumper pin relocation is required. Locate the PCV Diagnosis connector (grey or white depending on model year) on the engine block near the throttle body. Remove the jumper pin using needle nose pliers. Do NOT discard it - reinsert it into the female harness plug previously connected to the PCV Diagnosis connector and secure with electrical tape.

Product Description

The Torque Solution TS-SU-565-NR is a 3" (76mm) non-recirculated silicone turbo inlet hose engineered for EJ-series Subaru WRX (2002-2007), WRX STI (2004-2020), Legacy GT (2005-2009), and Forester XT (2004-2013) owners who have upgraded to an aftermarket turbocharger with a 3" compressor inlet. This hose is not a stock-replacement item - it is purpose-built for EJ-platform builds that have outgrown the factory inlet sizing and require a larger-diameter, smooth-bore inlet path to match the airflow capacity of a high-flow aftermarket turbo.

The "NR" (Non-Recirculated) designation is a critical specification: this version does not include a BOV recirculation port, making it the correct choice for speed density (SD) or open-loop tune setups running a vent-to-atmosphere blow-off valve. On a speed density tune, the ECU does not reference airflow data from a mass airflow sensor, so venting boost pressure to atmosphere does not create the lean condition that would occur on a MAF-based tune. Builders running a MAF tune with a recirculating BOV should select the TS-SU-565-R instead. The two included billet aluminum joiners - a straight 3" coupler and a 3"-to-2.75" reducer - provide compatibility with both 3" and 2.75" cold air intake systems without additional fabrication.

Construction is 4-ply high-grade silicone with wire reinforcement throughout, preventing collapse at both high positive boost pressure and the negative inlet pressures that develop under aggressive boost conditions. Installation requires the same simple, reversible PCV Diagnosis Port jumper pin relocation described in the TS-SU-463 series. Additional nylon fittings, 1/8" NPT stainless plugs for DIY TGV conversion, and heavy-duty zip ties are included to support a complete installation.
