Product Description

Loose, sloppy shifter feel on an STI is often traced back to worn OEM linkage bushings - and once they're gone, they're difficult to source as an OEM replacement part. This solid U-joint eliminates that failure point entirely, swapping in a durable 304 stainless steel trunnion with a bronze insert in place of the factory bushing setup.

The result is noticeably more precise, direct shifts with better feedback, and since it's solid rather than bushing-based, there's nothing left to wear out down the road. Install hardware and a packet of high-temp grease are included - just be sure to check your linkage core color first, since 2006 STIs sometimes shipped with the earlier 04/05-style core that requires a different kit.
