Fitment Notes

The Torque Solution TS-IQ-HKS is an HKS SSQV4 blow-off valve adapter kit designed for the 2016-2024 Infiniti Q50 and 2017-2024 Infiniti Q60 equipped with the VR30DDTT 3.0T twin-turbo V6 engine. The VR30DDTT does not ship from the factory with blow-off valves - instead, the turbos rely on recirculating bypass valves integrated into the charge system. Under hard driving and during aggressive gear changes, this design allows compressor surge to develop - a condition where boost pressure backs up against a closed throttle and forces air backward through the compressor wheel, producing the characteristic fluttering sound and placing mechanical stress on the turbo impellers. The TS-IQ-HKS eliminates this by mounting an HKS SSQV4 blow-off valve directly to each turbo's compressor outlet using a precision-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum flange, with no permanent modification to the vehicle.

Because the VR30DDTT is a twin-turbo engine with two separate turbocharger units, a complete BOV installation requires 2 adapter kits - one for each side. Each kit includes all hardware, silicone hoses, vacuum lines, fittings, clamps, and zip ties needed for installation on one side. The silicone hoses are side-specific (left and right configurations differ); do not assume the kit is incorrect if the two hoses appear different from one another. The HKS SSQV4 blow-off valves themselves are not included and must be purchased separately.
