Product Description

The Torque Solution TS-GT-2x30 is a 2-inch wide, 30-foot roll of gold reflective heat tape engineered for automotive thermal protection applications across all vehicle platforms. Constructed with a laminated fiberglass cloth core, high-temperature adhesive backing, and an aluminum polymer gold outer skin, this tape is designed to shield heat-sensitive components - including firewalls, bulkheads, fuel cells, fuel lines, wiring harnesses, engine covers, and under-hood panels - from radiant heat generated by turbos, exhaust systems, and other high-temperature sources. The gold reflective surface deflects radiant heat while the fiberglass layer provides structural rigidity and prevents adhesive bleed-through.

With a continuous working temperature range of -40°F to 260°F and a melting point of 550°F, this tape is well-suited for placement near exhaust manifolds, downpipes, and turbocharger housings where radiant heat loads are highest. The roll can be cut to any length and applied directly to most clean, dry surfaces - conforming to curved pipes, panel edges, and irregular engine bay shapes without special tools.
