The Torque Solution TS-FRS-263 is a complete billet aluminum engine mount set engineered for the 1st Generation ZN6/ZC6 platform - covering the 2013-2016 Scion FR-S, 2013-2020 Subaru BRZ, and 2017-2020 Toyota 86. The FA20D-powered twins share a well-known characteristic: under hard acceleration and during performance driving, the compliance built into the factory rubber engine mounts allows the drivetrain to torque over measurably within the engine bay. This movement absorbs driver inputs, delays throttle response, softens shift feel, and contributes to wheel hop and inconsistent traction during launches. The TS-FRS-263 replaces the entire OEM engine mount set with billet 6061-T6 aluminum units using steel brackets and stainless steel pins, anchoring the engine firmly in its factory position and eliminating that compliance entirely.

The 75A durometer urethane bushings are a deliberate engineering choice - stiffer than OEM rubber to deliver the performance benefit, but calibrated to avoid the excessive cabin harshness and noise of solid or excessively hard mounts. At 75A, these bushings allow the TS-FRS-263 to serve equally well as a daily driver upgrade or a dedicated track and autocross performance part.
