Product Description

The Torque Solution TS-R56-BOVS is a CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum blow-off valve adapter for the 2007-2013 MINI Cooper S, Clubman S, Convertible S, Coupe S, Roadster S, and all John Cooper Works variants - covering the R55, R56, R57, R58, and R59 chassis equipped with the N14 1.6T turbocharged engine. Rather than replacing the factory diverter valve, this adapter bolts between the turbocharger outlet and the factory DV, allowing the stock valve to continue functioning normally while venting a portion of charge air to atmosphere on throttle lift - producing the atmospheric blow-off sound without requiring any ECU retune or triggering a check engine light.

Installation takes under 30 minutes with basic hand tools and the adapter is completely reversible. One important installation note: depending on the specific turbocharger fitted, one side of the adapter may need to be lightly shaved to clear the wastegate flange - verify clearance during dry-fit before fully torquing the hardware. This adapter fits the N14 1.6T engine only and does not fit the later N18 engine used in some R56 and R57 models.
