Product Description

The Torque Solution TS-HA-398 is a direct OEM replacement upper engine (torque) mount for the Honda Civic Si from 2006 through 2015 and the Acura ILX from 2013 to 2015. On these FWD K-series platforms, the factory rubber upper mount allows the engine to pitch significantly under hard acceleration and braking - this movement absorbs throttle response, induces wheel hop, and creates vague, imprecise gear shifts as the engine repositions before and after each shift. The Torque Solution billet mount eliminates this movement, anchoring the engine firmly in position and channeling power directly to the driven wheels.

The mount is built from 6061-T6 billet aluminium with 75A polyurethane bushings and stainless steel pins - a combination that provides the stiffness needed for performance improvement while remaining usable for everyday street driving. The 75A durometer rating sits between full race stiffness and soft OEM compliance, making it well suited to street and occasional track use. Some increase in cabin NVH at idle is expected compared to the factory rubber mount, which is typical of all performance polyurethane engine mount upgrades on FWD vehicles.
