Product Description

The Torque Solution TS-CAM-PLTR is a CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum cam plate in red anodized finish, designed as a direct OEM replacement for the 2013-2021 Subaru BRZ, 2013-2016 Scion FR-S, and 2017-2020 Toyota 86/GT86 equipped with a manual transmission. This part addresses one of the most well-documented issues on the FA20 platform - the cam plate oil leak caused by the factory RTV sealant degrading over time. When the leak is repaired under factory warranty, dealers typically reapply fresh RTV sealant, which will eventually fail again. The Torque Solution cam plate solves the problem permanently by replacing the sealant-dependent OEM design with a precision-machined Viton O-ring groove that maintains a reliable, leak-proof seal under sustained heat and oil pressure.

Installation is a direct swap for the factory cam plate using the included hardware, and the red anodized finish adds a clean motorsport aesthetic to the engine bay. Note that this part is for manual transmission FA20 variants only and does not fit the 2022+ GR86/BRZ generation (FA24 engine).
