Product Description

The Torque Solution TS-SU-789 is a billet aluminum TGV shaft plug seal kit for 2008+ Subaru EJ-series turbocharged engines - covering the WRX, STI, Legacy GT, Forester XT, and Outback XT. The Tumble Generator Valves (TGVs) on these platforms are known to develop a vacuum and boost leak over time on the end of the housing opposite the TGV motor and sensor. This occurs as the OEM shaft seal degrades, allowing air to bypass the valve body and creating a persistent leak that is often difficult to diagnose and has historically been tedious and expensive to repair. The TS-SU-789 solves this definitively by installing two precision-machined billet plug seals - one per TGV housing - directly into the leak-prone shaft opening, sealing it permanently with a high-quality O-ring.

This kit can be installed as a proactive measure before any leak develops, or as a direct fix for an existing TGV shaft vacuum/boost leak. It works with the OEM TGV housings in place and requires no removal of the TGV motors or sensors.
