Product Description

The Torque Solution TS-SU-417S is a set of four silver anodized 6061 billet aluminum valve cover cam seals for all Subaru EJ-series turbocharged engines - covering the 2002-2014 WRX, 2004-2021 STI, 2004-2008 Forester XT, and 2005-2009 Legacy GT. The OEM rubber cam seals are a known failure point on the EJ platform, hardening and shrinking over time to allow oil to seep past the valve cover gasket surface - a particularly common issue on higher-mileage engines and those subjected to heat cycling on track or in performance use. These billet aluminum replacements are dimensionally machined to seal as tightly as the OEM units when new, but unlike rubber, they will never degrade, warp, or fail over time.

The four-seal set covers all cam seal locations on the EJ engine and installs in under an hour for most owners during a standard valve cover gasket service - making it a natural and cost-effective complement to any valve cover gasket replacement job.
