Product Description

The Torque Solution TS-SU-819 is a CNC-machined billet aluminum throttle body adapter that allows 2001-2005 Subaru WRX and 2001-2002 STI owners to mount their drive-by-cable (DBC) throttle body to a drive-by-wire (DBW) style intake manifold. This is an essential piece for any early EJ205 build running a 2006+ Subaru DBW intake manifold or aftermarket DBW manifold - including the Torque Solution High Volume Intake Manifold - without needing to convert to a full electronic throttle control system. The adapter bridges the mounting interface difference between the earlier cable-throttle throttle body flange and the DBW-pattern intake manifold opening.

Note that this adapter requires the existing drive-by-cable throttle body gasket (PN 16175AA223, not included) to be modified for proper sealing, and custom cable routing brackets may be needed depending on the specific manifold and engine bay configuration.
