The TiALSport 000977 Sport Q Blow-Off Valve is a universal, high-performance recirculating valve engineered to eliminate compressor surge in turbocharger systems. When the throttle is quickly closed, a pressure wave travels back to the turbocharger compressor wheel, potentially causing damage. The Sport Q's high-flow 50mm piston and quick-acting silicone diaphragm rapidly vent this pressure from the intake tract and route it back into the intake system upstream of the turbocharger (recirculating). This action is mandatory on Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor-equipped vehicles to prevent the engine from stalling or running rich.
