Fitment Notes

  • Front pair only; a matching rear kit (VSGP3-X1EA2) is available separately for a full front-and-rear replacement.
  • Fixed-damping shock - for adjustable damping, Tein's EnduraPro Plus line (VSGP4-B1DS2) is the step-up option.

  • OE-shape design - lower spring seat matches the factory shock exactly
  • Works with the factory OE spring and upper mount, or with Tein lowering springs
  • Improves ride quality and handling without changing ride height
  • Hydraulic Bump Stopper (H.B.S.) cushions full-stroke impacts and protects the damper
  • High-strength shell case with expanded oil capacity for long-term stable damping
  • Tein-green 2-layer, 1-bake powder coating for superior corrosion resistance
  • Twin-tube design delivers longer strokes with less repulsive force than a mono-tube setup
  • Suitable for heavy snowfall or coastal, salt-exposed regions

Product Description

The Tein VSGP4-X1EA2 replaces worn or leaking front OE shocks on the Model 3 and Model Y with a direct OE-shape unit - same lower spring seat, same mounting points, no ride-height change. Because it's built to the factory shape, it drops straight in using your existing front springs and upper mounts, and works equally well paired with Tein lowering springs if you're planning a drop down the road.

The twin-tube design gives a longer stroke with less repulsive force than the stock setup, translating to a smoother ride at low speed and more stable control at highway speed - a common complaint on the firmer-riding Model 3/Y platform. Combined with the Hydraulic Bump Stopper and Tein's corrosion-resistant powder coating, it's a durable way to restore front damping performance without touching ride height or spring rate.
