Product Description

The TEIN GSHF6-8UAS2 Street Basis Z is a complete 4-corner coilover kit built for the 2014-2015 Honda Civic Si and 2016-2020 Acura ILX -- all sharing the same FB/FG platform and suspension geometry. As the evolution of TEIN's popular Basic coilover, the Street Basis Z features a sealed, shortened shell case design that provides optimized damper stroke at lowered ride heights. The twin-tube damper delivers a compliant street ride while maintaining control during spirited driving. Fixed damping is pre-tuned by TEIN for the US market -- no adjustment needed.

Ride height is adjusted via ZT-coated threaded sleeves, with front and rear drop ranging from 1.4-3.0 inches and 1.3-2.7 inches respectively. OEM upper mounts are reused for straightforward installation. Note that the OE front dust boot and rear spring insulator require modification prior to installation.
