Product Description

The Tein GSB78-8USS2 Street Basis Z is a complete 4-corner coilover kit for the 2008-2012 Honda Accord and 2009-2014 Acura TSX, offering ride height adjustability at an entry-level price point. The twin-tube damper design provides longer effective stroke than comparable mono-tube setups, resulting in a comfortable daily-driver ride quality even at lowered heights. Ride height is adjusted by threading the lower spring seat up or down on the ZT-coated shock body, with the recommended range of approximately 1.5" to 2.0" providing an aggressive stance while maintaining adequate ground clearance. Springs are cold-formed from SAE9254 steel for excellent sag resistance and durability. Damping is fixed at a street-tuned setting calibrated by Tein's USA R&D facility for North American road conditions, eliminating the guesswork of damper adjustment. The kit reuses the vehicle's original upper mounts, keeping costs down while simplifying installation. Tein's patented 2-layer powder coating and ZT thread treatment provide proven corrosion resistance in harsh climates including coastal and heavy snowfall regions.
