Product Description

The Tein SKM74-S3B00 is a set of S.Tech lowering springs engineered specifically for the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata NC. Constructed from chrome vanadium SAE9254V steel with a progressive spring rate design, these springs lower the front approximately 1.7 inches and the rear approximately 1.3 inches, delivering a more aggressive stance and improved road holding without requiring a shock absorber change.

Every Tein application is test fitted and road tested by trained suspension engineers to strike a deliberate balance between performance and everyday ride comfort, rather than sacrificing comfort entirely for a lower stance. The chrome vanadium construction keeps the springs lightweight and durable while retaining more of the spring's usable stroke than a standard steel spring, and the signature green powder coat finish adds long-term corrosion resistance.

This spring set is intended for NC Miata owners looking for a noticeable drop in ride height and sharper handling while continuing to run their factory or factory-replacement shocks. Front bump rubbers must be trimmed to 23mm from the bottom and rear bump rubbers to 38mm from the bottom, using the upper portion of each; backed by a 1-year warranty covering sag beyond 5mm, breakage, deformity, and noise, though not the powder coat finish or rusting.
