• Rear suspension is not camber adjustable on this application - rear alignment adjustment requires aftermarket camber arms if correction is needed
• Due to individual vehicle differences, inner fender trimming may be required if the spring contacts the inner fender at lowered heights
• Height adjustment data is based on the low-down model (approximately -15 mm stock ride height reference)

Product Description

The Tein RX1 (VSQ22-M1SS3) is a full coilover kit for the 2006-2013 Lexus IS250, 2006-2013 IS350, and 2008-2014 IS F in RWD configuration, built around Tein's Hydraulic Bump Stopper technology. On lowered vehicles, conventional rubber or urethane bump stops become the limiting factor in suspension travel - when fully compressed, they store energy and release it back upward, causing an abrupt, unsettling jolt that degrades both ride comfort and chassis control. The RX1's H.B.S. replaces this with a hydraulic unit integrated into the damper, converting that impact energy to heat and absorbing it progressively for a smooth, controlled end-of-travel response.

The twin-tube damper layout provides more stroke and gentler repulsive force than comparable mono-tube designs, making the RX1 particularly well-suited for a platform that sees a mix of street, canyon, and occasional track use. Front drop ranges from approximately 0.3 to 3.8 inches below stock, with rear adjustment reaching up to 5.6 inches on the IS250/IS350. Rear camber is not adjustable through the coilover itself - owners targeting significant rear lowering should plan for supplemental camber correction. Front lower brackets include eccentric washer camber adjustment for geometry correction at the front. The kit is EDFC-compatible for in-cabin electronic damping control and includes all upper mounts for a complete bolt-on installation.
