Fitment Notes

• Turbo 2.5 GT models only (BL9/BP9) - does NOT fit non-turbo Legacy 2.5i (BL6/BP6); a different kit is required for the 2.5i
• Rear: do NOT set the rear shell case length above the recommended position; when raising rear ride height, adjust using the spring seat only
• Rear: the interior bracket above the rear mount must be removed during installation
• Rear: the luggage hook/cargo hook cannot be used after installation
• Rear (BL9 Sedan): interior trim may need to be cut or removed if it interferes with the rear piston rod top
• EDFC compatible - requires EDFC Motor Kit EDK05-12140 (sold separately)
• Supersedes discontinued part number VSS52-C1SS4

The Tein VSS52-C1SA4-C Flex Z is a complete coilover kit for the 2005-2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT in both Sedan (BL9) and Wagon (BP9) body styles - turbocharged AWD variants only. With 336 lbs/in front and 392 lbs/in rear spring rates, front camber-adjustable pillowball upper mounts, and 16-way damping adjustment, this kit delivers meaningful stance improvement and sharper handling for the Legacy GT platform's balance of everyday comfort and turbocharged performance.

Built in Yokohama, Japan with twin-tube construction and Tein's sealed damper structure, this kit is for turbo 2.5 GT models only - the non-turbo 2.5i (BL6/BP6) requires a different kit. Rear installation has several important restrictions: the shell case must not exceed the recommended position, the interior bracket above the rear mount must be removed, and the cargo/luggage hook will no longer be usable. EDFC installation requires Motor Kit EDK05-12140, sold separately. Professional installation and wheel alignment are recommended after fitment.
