Product Description

The Superwinch Wireless Remote Control Kit (2277) is a universal plug-and-play upgrade for any 12V electric Superwinch model (excluding the SX10 and SX12), adding wireless winch control at distances up to 50 feet. The standard wired remote that comes with most Superwinch models limits the operator's position and range - in a solo recovery situation, this can mean standing in the bight of the winch line or losing sight of critical anchor points. The wireless kit solves this by letting the operator move freely to the safest and most effective position for monitoring the recovery, whether inside the vehicle cab, out to the side, or elevated for better situational awareness.

The transmitter is built to take the punishment of regular off-road use - impact-resistant construction, a textured grip, and a lanyard attachment point prevent loss and accidental drops. An automatic shut-off timer guards against unintended activation if the remote is bumped or switched on inadvertently. The receiver is sealed for moisture and debris protection. Importantly, installing this kit does not disable or remove the existing wired remote - it continues to function as a full-capability backup in the event the wireless transmitter is lost, has a dead battery, or fails. All wiring, adapters, and hardware are included for a complete installation.
