Product Description

The SuperPro TRC1001E is a front radius arm (caster arm) replacement kit engineered for the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 in Base, GT, and GXP trims, and the 2011-2017 Chevrolet Caprice PPV - all rear-wheel-drive vehicles based on the Holden/GM Zeta platform. The front radius arm on this suspension architecture is responsible for controlling the longitudinal position of the front wheel under braking and acceleration loads, and for maintaining consistent front caster angle. The OEM rubber bushing in the rear mount position of the radius arm is the primary wear point on this system: as it ages and softens, it allows the front wheel to move rearward under braking force - a dynamic that manifests as front-end vagueness, reduced steering precision, and inconsistent straight-line stability, particularly during hard deceleration.

The TRC1001E replaces both front radius arms with units constructed from OEM-quality alloy and fitted with SuperPro's pre-installed polyurethane bushings at the rear chassis mount position.
