Fitment Notes

  • Front suspension only. Corrects roll center and bump steer geometry on lowered vehicles; delivers the greatest improvement on cars lowered approximately 25mm or more from stock ride height.
  • Beneficial on all lowered vehicles regardless of drop amount, but results are most significant at greater ride height reductions.
  • Front wheel alignment is required after installation.
  • Fits both AWD and FWD variants of the GC/GF generation Impreza where applicable.
  • Compatible with all engine variants across listed model years and platforms.

Features

  • Extended front lower ball joints raise the front roll center after lowering, significantly increasing front roll resistance and reducing outside front wheel compression during cornering for more even weight distribution and improved tire contact.
  • Matched outer tie rod ends work in combination with the extended ball joints to correct bump steer - eliminating the unwanted toe change that occurs as the lowered suspension compresses and rebounds.
  • Raising the front roll center delivers a substantial reduction in body roll without requiring stiffer springs or sway bars, preserving ride quality while improving cornering behavior.
  • Improved tire contact patch consistency across the full suspension travel range results in better front-end grip, more predictable corner entry, and faster lap times.
  • Heavy duty construction engineered for lowered street and performance/competition use, with resistance to abrasion, temperature extremes, and harshness.
  • Designed, engineered, and manufactured in Australia using SuperPro's fully in-house process.
  • Reduces straight-line instability caused by bump steer on lowered cars - the wheels track straight rather than following road imperfections or requiring constant steering correction.
  • Covered by SuperPro's 3-year warranty on all metal roll control components.

Product Description

The SuperPro TRC0002 is a front roll center and bump steer correction kit designed for lowered Subaru WRX, STI, Impreza, Forester, Legacy, Outback, and Crosstrek models spanning model years 1992 through 2023 and beyond. When a Subaru is lowered - whether with coilovers, lowering springs, or any other height reduction - the front suspension geometry changes in two critical ways. First, the front roll center drops toward or below the ground, dramatically reducing its resistance to body roll during cornering. This means the outside front wheel compresses heavily under load, reducing its contact patch and traction at the exact moment it is needed most. Second, the geometry relationship between the tie rod ends and the lower control arm becomes mismatched, causing the wheels to toe in or out as the suspension travels - a condition known as bump steer that produces unpredictable handling, straight-line instability, and accelerated front tire wear.

The TRC0002 corrects both problems simultaneously. The kit's specially engineered extended lower ball joints raise the front roll center back toward its intended position relative to the new ride height, restoring front roll resistance and reducing the body lean that loads the outside front wheel during cornering. The matched outer tie rod ends re-establish the correct geometric relationship between the steering and suspension, eliminating bump steer and ensuring the front wheels track straight and respond predictably across the full suspension travel range. The improvement is greatest on vehicles lowered approximately 25mm or more, but any lowered Subaru will benefit from the geometry correction this kit provides.

The TRC0002 covers a wide range of Subaru platforms with shared front suspension architecture - from the original GC/GF Impreza through the GD/GG, GR/GH/GE/GV, and VA WRX generations, along with Forester SF through SJ, Legacy/Outback across multiple generations, and the 2023+ Crosstrek GU. Installation requires a front wheel alignment afterward. SuperPro covers all roll control metal components with a 3-year warranty. The kit includes everything needed for both sides - two extended ball joints and two matched outer tie rod ends complete with crown nuts and cotter pins.
