Product Description

The Superlift 1026 is the Superunner Steering System Conversion Kit for 1980-1996 Ford F-150 and Bronco 4WD models equipped with Ford's Twin Traction Beam (TTB) suspension. Fords with TTB suspension are known for vague steering feel -- on off-camber or uneven surfaces, continuous corrective input is needed to keep the vehicle straight. When lifted 4"-6", these characteristics are magnified. The Superunner system corrects this by converting the steering to an idler arm/centerlink design that minimizes tie rod angles and improves tie rod-to-axle beam phasing -- dramatically improving steering precision on and off-road.

Compatible with most name-brand 4"-6" lift kits. Vehicle must be lifted between 3.5" and 6". Superlift's dropped pitman arm is required and sold separately. For best results, use in conjunction with a Superlift lift kit and dropped pitman arm. Backed by Superlift's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
