Product Description

The Stainless Works 81TRK is a pair of long tube headers for 2001-2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500, Suburban 2500, GMC Sierra 2500 HD, Sierra 3500, and Savana 3500 equipped with the 8.1L Vortec V8. Constructed from premium Everlast 304 mil-spec grade stainless steel, these headers feature 2-inch CNC mandrel-bent primary tubes flowing into 3-inch collectors with 2-17/20-inch slip-fit outlets that connect directly to the factory headpipes and catalytic converters. All seams are fully TIG-welded and back-purged for maximum strength, durability, and a clean finished appearance. The long tube design improves exhaust scavenging for increased low-end torque and horsepower over the factory cast iron exhaust manifolds. The passenger side header includes an EGR fitting, and air tube fittings are provided for both sides. O2 sensor extensions, collector clamps, and installation hardware are included. May require clearancing around the steering shaft, and will not fit lifted vehicles. A 1-3/4-inch primary tube version is available under part number 81TRK175, and a 2004-2006 application version is available as 81TRK04188. Not California legal.
