Fitment Notes

• Fits the rear sway bar position only on all F8X and G8X M-series vehicles. For the front sway bar position, see SPL FE F8X (sold separately).
• All F8X chassis variants (F80, F82, F83, F87) are rear-wheel drive only - no xDrive variants exist for these platforms.
• G8X chassis (G80, G82, G83) are available in both RWD and xDrive AWD; G87 M2 is RWD only. This endlink is compatible with all drivetrain configurations on G8X.
• Sold as a pair (one left, one right) covering the rear axle on one vehicle.

• Black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum turnbuckles with opposing left-hand and right-hand threaded rod ends enable fast, precise on-car length adjustment - turn the turnbuckle to the target length and snug the jam nuts without removing the endlink from the vehicle.

Product Description

The SPL Parts SPL RE F8X is a PRO-series adjustable rear sway bar endlink engineered for the BMW F8X and G8X M-series platforms, covering the M2, M3, and M4 across both generations at the rear axle. The OEM rear endlinks on these vehicles are fixed-length units that develop sway bar preload from spring settling, driver weight, corner weighting, and ride height changes. This preload shifts the sway bar away from its optimal horizontal angle and generates unequal roll resistance between left- and right-hand corners - a characteristic that becomes more pronounced when stiffer aftermarket rear sway bars are installed or when the car has been lowered. The SPL RE F8X resolves this with a length-adjustable black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum turnbuckle body using opposing left-hand and right-hand threads. The driver can set the exact length needed to hold the sway bar horizontal at their ride height, snug the jam nuts, and lock the adjustment in place - entirely on the car, without removal.

The Teflon-lined FK 1/2" spherical bearings in this endlink provide a significantly higher static radial load capacity than smaller-bore alternatives, meaning they sustain the elevated lateral forces generated by aftermarket rear bars and high-grip tires on both F8X and G8X platforms without the premature wear common to budget endlinks. Custom heat-treated chromoly high misalignment studs deliver up to 65 degrees of articulation, keeping the endlink bind-free throughout full rear suspension travel and when positioned at different adjustment holes on multi-position aftermarket bars.
