Fitment Notes

• Adjustment range: 3.5"-4.0" (88-100mm) center-to-center between mounting points. This compact range is intentional - the rear sway bar geometry on this platform requires a very short endlink. Exceptionally low ride heights or the use of non-SPL rear lower control arms may require the sway bar to be set at a less effective arm angle; verify suspension sweep for any endlink bind after installation.
• The lower control arm mounting uses Grade 10.9 bolts with machined 6061-T6 aluminum spacers - replacing the OEM rubber mounting for a more direct and responsive rear sway bar connection.
• Sold as a pair - one pair covers the rear axle. One pair per vehicle required.
• These endlinks replace the rear sway bar endlinks only. For front sway bar endlinks, see SPL FE FRS (OEM length) or SPL FES FRS (shorter, for modified setups).

Product Description

The SPL Parts RE FRS are PRO Series adjustable rear sway bar endlinks for the Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ (ZC6/ZD8), Toyota GT86/GR86 (ZN6/ZN8), and Subaru WRX/STI (2008+). The rear endlink geometry on this platform is uniquely compact - the RE FRS adjusts between just 3.5" and 4.0" (88-100mm) center-to-center, requiring a short, highly articulating design that most aftermarket offerings address by simply reducing bearing size. SPL instead uses a full-size 2-piece FK 1/2" PTFE-lined bearing that maintains the full static radial load rating and a 22% wider articulation range compared to smaller-bearing designs, resulting in significantly better load capacity and longevity at equivalent or lower cost.

At the lower control arm, Grade 10.9 bolts and machined 6061-T6 aluminum spacers replace the OEM rubber mounting - eliminating the compliance of the factory rubber connection and providing a more direct, responsive rear sway bar engagement. These endlinks eliminate rear sway bar preload, enable proper corner balancing, and allow full adjustment of the sway bar arm angle for optimal anti-roll tuning. If exceptionally low ride heights or non-SPL rear lower control arms are used, verify that no endlink bind occurs through the full suspension travel range.
