Fitment Notes

• Adjustable rear toe arms are required after installation - the eccentric lockout kit eliminates the factory eccentric bolt, so the OEM toe adjustment method will no longer be available. SPL Parts offers matching adjustable toe arms (SPL RTA FRS) separately or as a combined kit.
• Compatible with all brands of aftermarket adjustable rear toe arms, not exclusively SPL Parts arms.
• Sold as a pair - one pair is sufficient for one complete vehicle installation.

Product Description

The SPL Parts SPL EL FRS is a rear toe arm eccentric lockout kit designed for the Toyota GR86, GT86, Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, WRX, STI, Outback, Legacy, and Forester. The factory rear suspension on these platforms uses eccentric bolts for small toe adjustments at the toe arm mounting location. While functional for street driving, these eccentrics are prone to slipping under the lateral loads generated during hard cornering, track use, or performance driving - causing rear toe to shift away from the set alignment and directly degrading handling balance and tire wear. The SPL EL FRS replaces these eccentric bolts with CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum lockout plates clamped by Grade 10.9 metric hardware, locking the toe arm position permanently in place with absolutely zero slip.

Installation is a direct swap: remove the OEM eccentric bolt and install the lockout plate in its place on the outside of the subframe tabs, secured by the supplied bolt. The lockout plates engage the OEM indentation in the subframe for additional retention. No drilling, welding, or modification to the vehicle is required. Because the lockout kit eliminates the factory eccentric adjustment method, adjustable aftermarket rear toe arms must be used to set and dial in rear toe after installation. The SPL EL FRS is compatible with all brands of adjustable rear toe arms, not just SPL's own RTA FRS arms. Once the alignment is set with adjustable arms, the eccentric lockouts also preserve the alignment setting if the toe arms ever need to be removed and reinstalled.

This kit has been validated in real-world track environments, including on Larry Chen's turbocharged GR86 track build and Devin's VA STI race car. It is equally at home on a weekend autocross car, a dedicated circuit build, or a lowered street car needing stable, consistent rear toe.
