Fitment Notes

• Covers both M and non-M E8X/E9X models on the rear axle - one part number fits all variants of the BMW 1 Series and 3 Series from this generation, unlike the front endlinks which have separate M and non-M part numbers.
• Sold as a pair - one pair covers the rear axle. One pair per vehicle required.
• If aftermarket coilovers or shocks have been installed, the rear sway bar mounting location may have changed. Contact SPL Parts if you need a custom length for your specific setup.
• These endlinks replace the rear sway bar endlinks only. For front sway bar endlink upgrades, see SPL FE E9X (non-M) or SPL FE E9M (M3/1M).

Product Description

The SPL Parts RE E9X are PRO Series adjustable rear sway bar endlinks for all BMW E8X 1 Series (E81, E82, E88 - including 128i, 135i, and 1M Coupe) and E9X 3 Series (E90, E91, E92, E93 - including 328i, 335i, 335d, and M3) models from 2006-2013. Unlike the front endlinks which require separate part numbers for M and non-M variants, the RE E9X covers all E8X/E9X rear axle applications in a single part number. These endlinks eliminate rear sway bar preload - the unwanted tension or compression placed on the rear sway bar by uneven spring settling, corner weighting, or ride height differences between corners - which creates an artificial and unpredictable understeer or oversteer bias that undermines handling balance. The adjustable turnbuckle design allows the endlinks to be set to the precise neutral length, keeping the rear sway bar truly unloaded.

FK 1/2" Teflon-lined spherical bearings handle the sustained side loads of stiff aftermarket rear sway bars, while custom heat-treated Chromoly high-misalignment studs (65° articulation) prevent binding at lowered ride heights or when using different sway bar adjustment positions.
