Fitment Notes

• Excludes M models. Does NOT fit the BMW E90/E92/E93 M3 or E82 1M Coupe - those vehicles use a different front sway bar geometry and require SPEC part #FE E9M. Verify your vehicle's trim before ordering.
• For OEM shock/strut setups, the distance from the sway bar mounting point to the shock mount must fall between 10.4" and 11.9" for proper fitment. If aftermarket coilovers or shocks have moved the mounting location outside this range, contact SPL Parts before ordering to confirm the correct endlink length for your specific setup.
• SPL cannot confirm fitment with all aftermarket coilovers - measure your specific swaybar-to-shock-mount distance before purchasing if running non-OEM suspension.
• Sold as a pair - one pair covers the front axle. One pair per vehicle required.

Product Description

The SPL Parts FE E9X are PRO Series adjustable front sway bar endlinks for the BMW E8X 1 Series (non-M), E9X 3 Series (non-M), and E89 Z4 - covering the full range of non-M coupe, sedan, convertible, and touring models from approximately 2006-2016. They are engineered to eliminate sway bar preload - a condition where the sway bar is placed under unwanted tension or compression by uneven spring settling, corner weighting, or ride height discrepancies between corners. Preloaded sway bars generate an artificial and unpredictable handling bias that corrupts anti-roll tuning; eliminating it with adjustable endlinks keeps the sway bar at its intended neutral position for accurate, repeatable balance tuning.

FK 1/2" Teflon-lined spherical bearings replace the OEM ball-joint-style endlinks with high-capacity articulating joints that handle the sustained side loads of stiff aftermarket sway bars without wear or play. Custom heat-treated Chromoly high-misalignment studs (65° articulation) prevent binding at lowered ride heights or when using different sway bar adjustment holes. When using aftermarket coilovers, verify that the swaybar-to-shock-mount distance is between 10.4" and 11.9" before ordering - if outside this range, contact SPL for the correct part.
