Product Description

The Spectre 9001 is a direct-fit cold air intake system engineered for the 2011-2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty equipped with the 6.2L V8 gasoline engine. It replaces the factory airbox and intake assembly with a polished aluminum tube and a 2-piece black powder-coated steel heat shield, routing cooler and denser air to the engine to increase horsepower, torque, and throttle response - particularly beneficial under towing and hauling loads. The red washable and reusable HPR non-woven synthetic air filter provides high airflow while protecting the engine from harmful debris, eliminating the ongoing cost of disposable replacement filters.

The system uses the factory MAF sensor and is compatible with stock ECM programming - no aftermarket tune or chip is required. All necessary hardware, including a velocity stack, rubber coupler, stainless steel clamps, and edge trim, is included for an OE-quality installation using basic hand tools. Note that some trimming may be required during installation. This intake is not CARB certified and is not legal for California street use.
