Product Description

The Spectre SPE-9004 Cold Air Intake Kit is a bolt-on performance upgrade engineered specifically for the 2011-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD / 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD / 3500 HD equipped with the 6.0L V8 gasoline engine. The kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox and filter assembly with a polished aluminum tube and high-flow red synthetic filter, optimizing airflow into the engine to extract a dyno-verified gain of +17.11 horsepower at 5,138 RPM. The larger, smoother intake path increases the volume and velocity of incoming air across the RPM range, with gains felt most notably during acceleration and towing loads.

Installation is designed to take approximately 20 minutes using common hand tools. The kit retains the factory MAF sensor location and is tuned around stock ECU calibration, so no programmer or tune is required. The included red synthetic filter is reusable and washable using Spectre's HPR4820 cleaning kit, eliminating the recurring cost of disposable paper filters. The kit holds CARB Executive Order D-629-12, making it legal for street use in all 50 states including California.
