Product Description

The SPEC SY381-2 is a Stage 1 clutch kit for the 2010-2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8L V6 (BK1 platform, 6-speed manual). Featuring a carbon Kevlar-based organic friction disc with integrally bonded steel backing, this kit delivers smooth street-friendly engagement while handling 443 lb-ft of torque for spirited driving, drag, drift, road race, rally, and autocross applications. The non-ratcheting high-clamp-load pressure plate is a complete redesign over the OE unit for improved longevity, better shifting, and superior reliability.

This kit requires the SPEC billet steel flywheel (PN SY38S, sold separately) -- it does not bolt to the factory flywheel. The SPEC flywheel is a lightweight, single-piece billet alloy steel unit that accepts both the factory clutch and any SPEC clutch kit. The double-sprung hub with spring cover reliefs provides flexibility for daily driving comfort while heat-treated components ensure durability under demanding use. SFI approved.
