The SPEC SV873-2 is a Stage 3 clutch kit for Volkswagen and Audi 2.0T TSI applications with the 02Q 6-speed manual transmission, covering a wide range of models including the 2006-2013 Audi A3, 2006-2014 VW Golf/GTI Mk5 and Mk6, 2012-2013 Golf R, 2006-2014 Jetta/GLI, 2009-2014 CC, 2007-2016 Eos, 2006-2008 Passat B6, and 2012-2014 Beetle. The kit features a carbon semi-metallic 6-puck sprung hub disc -- the leading puck clutch design in drivability, life, and torque capacity -- paired with a high clamp pressure plate for aggressive but streetable engagement with a maximum torque capacity of approximately 517 ft-lbs.

This is a dual-mass flywheel conversion kit that replaces the OE Luk S-A-C clutch design with SPEC's Grand Am Cup design. A SPEC single-mass flywheel is required and sold separately -- compatible options include the SV87S steel flywheel (~20 lbs), SV87A aluminum billet flywheel, or SV87S-4 for 8-bolt TSI applications. A complete kit with a 16 lb steel flywheel is also available as SV873-281SKIT. The double-sprung hub with spring cover relieves provides flexibility, and heat-treated hub components deliver strength and durability for street, drag, road racing, pulling, rally, and drift applications.
