Product Description

The SPC Performance 97120 is a pair of adjustable front upper control arms for 1967-1969 GM F-Body cars (Camaro, Firebird) and 1969-1974 X-Body cars (Nova, Buick Apollo), built around SPC's patented design for maximum adjustability and clearance. Where a factory or non-adjustable replacement arm locks camber and caster to a fixed geometry, these arms let a builder dial in both independently - a real advantage once wider wheels, lowered ride height, or performance driving change what the factory alignment specs were designed around.

The ball studs are 1/2 inch taller than stock specifically to improve the camber curve through suspension travel, and combined with the ±3.0° of adjustment in both camber and caster, the arms give a genuinely "modern" feeling suspension setup on a first-gen F-Body chassis. The grease-able, rebuildable ball joints mean long-term maintenance doesn't require replacing the whole arm - SPC's own rebuild kits (97001-97003) let an owner swap in different stud lengths later to fine-tune ride height or correct geometry as the rest of the suspension is modified.

Since this is an upper control arm only, one kit is needed per axle - it's not a complete front suspension kit, and pairing it with SPC's matching lower control arms (sold separately) is worth mentioning to customers building out a full Pro Touring or track-focused front end. Installation runs about 0.7 hours per side for a shop familiar with the platform.
