• Replacement ball joints for this arm: SPC 35101 (maintenance-free) or SPC 35102.
• A professional wheel alignment is required after installation.

Product Description

The SPC 35540 is a pair of adjustable front upper control arms engineered for 2nd and 3rd generation Nissan Frontier, Pathfinder R51, Xterra N50, and the Suzuki Equator - all of which share the Nissan F-Alpha platform. When these trucks are lifted or leveled, factory alignment specs for camber and caster become impossible to achieve with the OE arms, often resulting in tire wander, accelerated tire wear, and poor straight-line stability. The 35540 replaces both OE arms with fully adjustable units offering ±2.00° of camber and -1.0° to +3.00° of caster correction, with +1° of caster built into the arm geometry to immediately aid drivability on lifted applications.

Beyond alignment correction, the 35540 delivers a meaningful suspension upgrade. The oversized ball joint provides 80° of articulation and improved clearance around the coil spring bucket, eliminating the arm-to-frame contact that causes clunking on lifted trucks. Free-pivoting xAxis™ sealed flex joints in bonded rubber bushings replace the OE-style bushings, preventing the binding failures common on high-travel setups while retaining factory-level NVH characteristics for a quiet, compliant street ride. For maximum alignment range, pairing the 35540 with SPC cam bolt kit 87520 on the lower control arm is recommended.
